The Compass Center

Jobs for Life is a Faith-based eight week, sixteen session, 32 hour workshop that strives to restore dignity and self-worth through the value of quality employment. Our students learn how important good character is to employers. we discuss values, work up a quality resume, learn interviewing skills, create individual “one-minute commercials” and meet with local business leaders and human resource directors. Jobs for Life students learn to identify existing roadblocks that might be holding them back from realizing the job of their dreams. We help students develop a working plan and execution strategy to overcome and eliminate those roadblocks, clearing the way to fulfilling employment.
